Details have been finalised for the debate on the role of lobbying, which sees Mark Adams, Director of standup4lobbying, take on Guido Fawkes, the scourge of the political classes.
The subject of the debate will be the motion that “Lobbyists are paid to thwart the democratic will.” Speaking for the motion will be Guido Fawkes, seconded by Tamasin Cave of the Alliance for Lobbying Democracy; speaking against will be Mark Adams, supported by Professor Justin Fisher of Brunel University and Director of the Magna Carta Institute.
The event is kindly hosted and sponsored by Ellwood and Atfield, the leading communications recruitment company. It will take place from 18.30 at Ellwood and Atfield’s offices at 34 Smith Square, London, SW1P 3HL, doors open at 18.00. The debate will finish at 20.00 sharp, after which there will be a drinks reception.
